  Visited on a whim after going to Leeds castle. What a find! Delicious food, polite and pleasant staff, baby and dog friendly. Great spot to stop off when out walking, or Leeds castle which is 5 mins drive away.

  The wife and I chose to have our second wedding reception here (the first was on the day of the wedding for those in attendance, second here a month later on may day bank holiday for friends and work colleagues etc). The food was fantastic, not that I saw much of it! Everyone said they loved the warmth and atmosphere. No music so people mingled nicely and being a small place it was cosy.
  We try to eat here every six months or so and every time I don't want to leave it's such a nice place with great ales and food menu.
